I’ve been waiting all morning!!! Trying not to stress too much. (Yeah right) I finally decided to call after 11! Somone answered the phone and I let her know I was sorry for bugging them but I’m just too impatient for this! I needed to know! She said yep your results are back I seen them this morning! She put me on hold. I was on hold for almost two holding songs! I kept thinking well this can’t be good they are probably waiting for a nurse to tell me about the numbers and set me up with a diet specialist. Finally she got back on the phone and said my numbers were just fine! What a relief! She said all my numbers were way under the max! She told me all of them but to be honest I was just so happy I don’t remember any of it lol. Thanks to everyone who prayed and thought of me through all this! I’m glad this was a happy post!!! I have another dr appointment tomorrow so I’ll do another update then!
Ok so the few days went by fast! I’m now 30 weeks and 3 days! I’ve been worried about the sugar test and today was the big day! I got there at 8:30 and was stabbed in the arm 4 times! The sugar drink was worse I guess because it’s double the sugar. The regular one never bothered me this one made me feel pretty gross. The first hour sucked I just felt gross. Although baby Grace was loving it! It was like sugar crack for her I guess! She was bouncing off my uteran walls lol. I’m glad one of us enjoyed that sugar! Then I started feeling better! Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing lol. I tried to see if they would speed up my results to know today. Sadly that was a big fat no! They said go home and eat pizza and ice cream because I diserved it haha. I got home and was STARVING!!! I ate a big plate of left over pasta and took a very short power nap. I guess we will have news tomorrow. Let’s all pray that were fine and it’s nothing to worry about! Kailynn took a belly pic for me this week she’s very proud of it! Then Everett also had to take one his is a bit more artistic I guess you could say lol.
And for the exciting things baby Grace is up to this week!!!
Your belly’s increasing size is a definite clue that your baby is getting bigger every day, weighing in at over three pounds now (she’ll be packing on the weight at a rate of a half pound per week for the next seven weeks).
Also growing daily is her brain, which is actually starting to look like the real thing with those characteristic grooves and wrinkles. And now that your little genius can regulate her own body temperature and turn up the heat, she’ll start shedding lanugo, the downy body hair that’s been keeping her warm up until now.
So last week I went for my fun sugar test. I have been feeling great nothing out of the norm! Well today I got a call from my dr office. I knew it wasn’t good they never call unless I call them or I have a appointment the next day. Well the nurse was super nice but said my numbers were a little high. Ugggg my heart sank. All I could think was I have perfect pregnacys this is not supposed to happen to me! She said they want your numbers to be at 130 or under mine was 142. She assured me it’s not crazy high. I have to now do a three hour test next Tuesday. The kicker was guess what I had cooking oh pasta… I felt too bad so I ate just meatballs… From my googling I have found that most people that have to do the 3 hour test end up passing it. So I’m holding onto that for dear life lol. I mean my numbers are not crazy over what they should be. So basically I’ve had a not so good day. Lots of stressing so please everyone pray for us that I don’t end up having GD. I want baby Grace to be just as perfect and healthy as she can be for her mommy and daddy!!!
Looks like we’re already at the end!!! Miss Grace is really loving to move around and make sure I know she’s there! We love to lay in bed and play! I poke her and she pokes right back! I think her and her sissy are going to have lots of fun! Double trouble for mom and dad!!! On Friday we go for our yummy sugar test… I’m not worried I’ve never had any issues before! I’m excited to go visit Chicago in a few weeks! I can’t wait for everyone to feel some kicks and jabs! Plus eat some yummy pizza! We’re taking the kids this time. Kailynn is very very excited to see Ellie. She thinks she lives in a very tall building lol. Only 12 weeks to go! I swear this is even faster then last time!!! I have a love hate relationship with the end of pregnancy. I so can’t wait for Molly and Jon to meet this perfect little girl and I can’t wait to see her face and see how much she looks like her big sissy! But I hate the unknowns of when labor will start! There’s just no predicting that. Here is what sweet baby Grace is up too this week!
baby is settling into the proper position for birth, with her head facing downward (toward your body’s nearest exit!). Your little work in progress is now about 2.5 pounds and almost 16 inches long.
She’s also busy adding new skills such as blinking to an already impressive repertoire of tricks like coughing, sucking, hiccupping, and taking practice breaths. Your baby’s sleep now includes the REM (rapid eye movement) phase — and that means she could be dreaming already (what do you suppose she’s dreaming about?)!
So as most of the Facebook world knows we’re doing a sibling journey!! I’m currently 26 weeks and lots of family and friends have been bugging me about blogging again. So here we go! I’ve decided to catch everyone up! We started meds again at the end of September! And on October 28 we transferred one sweet baby!!! Turns out there was only one baby that made it to 6 days!!! So all eggs were in my basket! I was super nervous. I prayed a lot as did all my family and friends! To my surprise after 3 days I started to get tiny squinter lines on my home Pregnacy tests!!! It took forever to get one with miss Ellie so I was shocked when I seen a line so fast! I even made my husband look with me holding the flash light lol. He finally admitted he seen something! I was beyond happy and excited! I told Molly the next morning I didn’t think she needed to stress to much and sent her the picture! It then took forever to have our beta blood test! First test numbers came in at 986!!! That was HUGE compared to Ellie’s number hers was only 106! Then I had to wait for more blood tests to make sure my numbers kept rising and the a ultrasound! The next numbers were 3567 at 15 days past a 6 day transfer! Last one was 15,856!!!! On November 23 we got our ultrasound and seen one healthy heart beat of 106! They did see something next to the baby. We were all a little worried they seen this in the next few ultrasounds! Turns out it was a sch! Good news is my body just obsorbed it! That’s really all the exciting stuff! So I’ll post a bunch of pictures so you can catch up! Really the last half of pregnancy is the best part anyway!!!
Ok not exactly but all most! To be honest ive had lots of emotions this week! Im so overly happy and Im in shock! I feel so blessed to continue to be apart of this little girls life! Thats the best gift ever for me! Im shocked that shes already a year old! I feel like it was just yesterday i was peeing on pregnancy tests lol. Her mom and dad have become so dear to me! Molly is one of my best friends! Who would have thought two complete strangers could become so close so fast! I guess when you have their baby that puts things on a fast track lol. Ive also been enjoying this year of my life. When you have a super scary birth like we did i think you enjoy things more! Im celebrating my big 30 birthday tomorrow and miss Ellie’s grand entrance into the world! And i can’t help but think if things went a bit different all the things i would have missed this year with my family and friends. It sounds crazy to say BUT i think it was all a huge blessing! I know how fast things can change tomorrow is never promised so you need to enjoy today! Ellie will be having a great get together with family and friends and cake of course! I will face time with them tomorrow also!!! its so crazy to think last year this night we were prepared to be at the hospital at 6am!!! things definitely didnt go how any of us planned but im still over joyed with the choice i made to help get her here! This world and my world would be lacking so much without that sweet Ellie belly!!! So HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!
We had a amazing trip to go see miss Ellie! Shes 7 almost 8 months now I cant believe it! My favorite part was getting to see how much she loved her mommy and daddy! They love her so much you can tell by they way they look at her and talk about her. Shes a normal little girl as soon as her mommy would leave the room and it was just me and her she would scream and cry lol. We got to spend Thursday with her as soon as we got there and we all went to dinner. We all went out friday night for a adult only night. It was great to hang out and catch up! Ricky and I tried oysters for the first time not bad at all! Im shocked he tried them! Saturday we shopped and went back to the hotel ricky was tired but I wanted more baby time lol. So I went to hang out with Molly and Ellie for some girl time! Shes teething so we all know how cranky they can be. Poor thing! Needless to say our trip was more then amazing. Im still so blessed to have met such wonderful people! Who will be friends for life! Ill be back to Visit in march on a girls trip to the hair show I cant wait!!!
